Fifi mon nouvel if !

Yesterday I got a twenty years old yew from a fallow land with the owner's permission. Others will be earthen at the end of the month, a suitable period for it.

After a rather easy way out - it must be said that the bulldozer had partly done the job - big tubes were cut and clay, rather dry, was removed
out
with a wand.

This yew this was potted in a culture pot in 95% pumice / 5% homeland with charcoal crushed. As usual, the roots were generously sprinkled with HB101, a "magic potion" used by the Japanese. The aerial part has been significantly reduced. I have left only 15% of the original foliage and careful to leave all the small shoots that have grown inside the crown. The vegetation was very far from the trunk.

It was put in the shade (sun only in the morning until 10 am). In 15 days, it will be placed a little more sun and will winter fertilizer rich in phosphorus and potassium. I fertilizered it with leave-fertilizer.

This winter it will be protected from possible frost.

Hoping a good recovery and a strong sprouting in spring.
